Joining the Stroud Association Of Schools
Membership is for schools rather than individual members of staff.
Membership runs from the beginning of April to the end of March the following year.
FULL MEMBERSHIP
The vast majority of CPD Courses, Headship Briefings and Conferences are 'free at the point of delivery' for member schools., their teaching and non-teaching staff and governors.
SCHOOL LEADERSHIP ONLY
Headship Briefings and Conferences are 'free at the point of delivery' for LEADER-ONLY schools. These MAY include opportunities for governors too.
COSTS:
Previously, membership was calculated at 0.18% of the Block Funding, plus a 'per pupil' figure, using your Number On Roll (as published in the September census that precedes the April 'start' of a 'Membership' Year.) We keep this under regular review.
FULL MEMBERSHIP for a school of around 100 pupils is approximately £600 pounds.
FULL MEMBERSHIP for a school of around 200 pupils is approximately £1000 pounds.
LEADERSHIP ONLY - Membership is available at a 50% reduction on the full membership costs.
Gloucestershire Association of Primary Heads:
We usually undertake to invoice for GAPH at the same time. This cost is passed directly on to GAPH.
